Escape Rooms Global is an independent finder and comparison site for escape rooms worldwide.
Where the data comes from
We aggregate several public sources and merge them into a single, deduplicated directory:
- TERPECA — the Top Escape Rooms Project Enthusiasts’ Choice Awards, the industry’s most respected annual award, voted by hundreds of the world’s most experienced players. We index every winner and finalist since 2019, which gives us the world rankings.
- World of Escapes — a large international directory covering dozens of countries. Source of much of our global coverage, player ratings, difficulty levels and theme tags.
- Escape Room Lover — the reference directory in Spain, used for in-depth Spanish coverage including prices, age limits and game types.
Rooms that appear in more than one source are merged into a single listing: we match them by title, operator and location, and combine the fields so each room shows the most complete information available. Ratings shown with a star come from the source community; ratings you leave here are ours and take precedence once a room has them.
What you can filter by
Country and region, company, theme (horror, adventure, detective, heist, prison break…), game type (indoor, virtual reality, online, head-to-head, with actors), difficulty, scare level, duration, player rating and TERPECA award year — in grid, list or map view.
Prices
Where a source publishes the actual price of a room, we show the range and an approximate
price per player so you can compare and filter by budget. Many operators do not publish prices
in the directories we aggregate — in those cases no price is shown rather than a guess, and the
Book now button takes you to the operator, where the current price always applies.
Prices are indicative and can change: the operator’s own page is the authority.
Languages
The interface is available in the main languages of the countries we cover. Use the language selector in the top menu.
Corrections and removals
We are not affiliated with any of the sources above. Rankings belong to TERPECA; images belong to the respective escape room companies and are shown as editorial reference with a link back to the operator. If you run a room and want your listing corrected, updated or removed, contact us and we will action it.
How we make money
Listings are and will always be free. We monetize through clearly-labelled featured placements and partner booking links — never by altering rankings or ratings.
